The Downtown Orillia Management Board in collaboration with December Sun, The Orillia Public Library, Manticore Books and Creative Nomad Studios are thrilled to host a Free Christmas Photos with Santa event.
This is a Free event, but we do ask that you bring a canned food donation for our local food bank.
Our event will held on November 26th from 10am -2pm , on the second floor of Creative Nomad Studios during the Orillia Christmas Market. This event will allow you to pre-register from 10-11:30am, or drop in from 11:30am-2:00pm. If you would like to pre-register/book your timeslot please click here.
During the photos the Orillia Public Library will be hosting a free Holiday Craft activity for your children to participate in!

Once again, the Orillia District Chamber of Commerce will be running the Santa Claus Parade! This is the largest Christmas parade North of Toronto! Featuring over 100 floats, bands, and Santa himself, this is a great way to ring in the holiday season!

Let’s do the time warp, again! Sweethearts Brad and Janet, stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker and a creepy butler. Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named “Rocky.” Featuring iconic songs like “Time Warp”, “Sweet Transvestite”, and “Hot Patootie” you’ll be shivering with anticipation to see this show.
This production contains mature content unsuitable for young children, including sexual themes and language. While the audience is encouraged to sing, dance and shout, please no props or throwing items.

An Autumn Mariposa will take place at Bayview Memorial Park, 9th Concession Road, Township of Oro-Medonte on Saturday, October 1, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and will feature performances by four artists/groups: Treasa Levasseur, Aleksi Campagne, Union Duke and Irish Mythen. There is on-site washroom facilities and parking.
