Children’s Candlelight Parade

Bring the Christmas spirit to life as we light up the downtown!

Join the countdown to light the Opera House tree, enjoy free hot chocolate & treats plus meet SANTA!

The Candlelight Parade will begin at the corner of Mississaga St E and Front St, promptly at 7pm, so please get there early to pick up your candles before the parade starts.

23rd Annual Classic Car Show – Downtown Orillia

A jaw-dropping collection of over 300 classic cars line the Downtown streets! Enjoy live entertainment, great dining, shopping and the largest car show in the region in downtown Orillia on Mississaga St from Front St to Albert St and Peter St S from 9am – 5pm!

It is our privilege to invite you to bring your vehicle to our 23rd Annual Downtown Orillia Classic Car Show being held this year on Saturday August 19th, 9am-5pm. We know that you will enjoy the live music and activities taking place throughout the day.  Your registration includes a 2023 dash plate and chances to win great door prizes!

PLUS Pre-registered vehicles receive two ballots for a chance to Win a Classic Longblock Engine Rebuild by Parry Automotive Orillia*!

Starry Night – Art & Gallery Tour

The Starry Night Studio & Gallery Tour is an annual self-guided walking tour of downtown Orillia art spaces that exhibit and promote local artists on an on-going basis. The event occurs in late August, rain or shine and features downtown artist studios, galleries, shops and restaurants.

Mariposa Folk Festival Downtown Stage

Orillia’s largest festival is once again featuring Mariposa Folk Festival’s showcase winners on the FREE Downtown Stage!

Come check out the Showcase Winning Acts, bring the kids, and enjoy Mariposa inspired crafts and activities to get into the Mariposa Folk spirit in Downtown Orillia.

See You on the Patio

Every Friday and Saturday nights from June 30 – September 2, join downtown Orillia as the restaurant patios extend out on to the streets starting at 6pm.

See You on the Patio will see the roads closed to traffic on Mississaga St W from Andrew St to West St, Mississaga St E from Peter St to Matchedash St, and Peter St S from Mississaga St to Colbourne St.
